Ask yourself:
Is alcohol easily accessible by youth in my home?
Do I support events where alcohol is served and minors are present?
Do I communicate clear expectations to my children and their choices surrounding alcohol use?
Do you know who your children spend time with and the parents of those children?
Do you advocate for safe, healthy activities for youth in the community?
How much do you know about the effects of alcohol on the developing brain?
Ask your children: who, where, what, when, how long, will there be opportunities for bad choices to be made before they go out, not once they get home.
Have a plan! Set the example!
