Sponsored Programs

With a 501 (c) 3 status, the Shasta County Chemical People can become the fiscal agent for organizations that don't have the infastructure to make that transition, but provide a valuable service to the community. For some agencies, the Chemical People provides a youth outreach component to create a diverse community collaborative, to ensure funding will be secured and maintained through other resources. All of the programs sponsored by the Chemical People are youth-oriented, substabce abuse prevention programs with unique opportunities for youth to participate in strengthening the Shasta County community. The Chemical People assist the following agencies with their mission: MADD, Meth Task Force, After School Activities Program (ASAP), Shasta County Talent Show Search, Shasta County BrainBusters, and Shasta Lake Community Action Partnership.
