Shasta County Talent Search is open to performers 18 years old and younger. Welcomed are youth who display a variety of talents and all levels of accomplishment. This free event runs from September through May (with the exception of December) followed by an invitational show at the Shasta District Fair. For more information, call 241-5958.
Shasta County BrainBusters is designed for 4th – 8th grade students to “shine in the mind.” This friendly competition incorporates questions in math, science, history, language arts and literature, geography, fine and performing arts, current events, sports, and trivia. Included is drug education. BrainBusters is a quarterly event with the next date being August 6, 2008. For more information, call 241-5958.
